Welcome to Tonga!

 Hi everyone! 

My name is Yesy Vake and I have selected the country Tonga. Tonga is a Polynesian kingdom of more then 170 South Pacific Islands, many of which are uninhabited. Most of their beaches as lined in white with coral reefs and covered with tropical rainforest. Tongatapu is the main island in Tonga and it is protected by lagoons and limestone cliffs.  Week 1: Introduction to ecological disasters  

Tonga has withered some extreme destruction with category 5 cyclones as well as other less powerful ones, a drought and an enormous volcanic eruption, tsunami and Covid shut down.

A hazards is the potential for destruction to life and property. If the hazards is fulfilled and destruction occurred to life and property of human then it is considered disasters. A catastrophe is a severe destruction to life and human property that requires the military forces and national guard support for civilian disaster response.
